Cannery COVID-19 Guidelines

Cannery COVID-19 Guidelines for Patrons:

Anyone with a temperature above 100°F, with a cough, with shortness
of breath, who has been feeling ill, or who has knowingly been exposed to the
COVID-19 virus should NOT come to the Cannery.


Face Covering Required. Per the Governor's Executive Order #63, individuals
aged ten and over entering local government buildings shall cover their mouth and nose with a face covering.

If you are not wearing a face covering, WCPS assumes that one of the following
exceptions apply:
-Any person who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or
otherwise unable to remove the face covering without assistance.
-Any person seeking to communicate with the hearing impaired and for which the mouth needs to be visible.
-When temporary removal of the face covering is necessary to secure government or medical services.
-Persons with health conditions that prohibit wearing a face covering.
Nothing in this Order shall require the use of a face covering by any person for
whom doing so would be contrary to his or her health or safety because of a
medical condition. Any person who declines to wear a face covering because of a
medical condition shall not be required to produce or carry medical
documentation verifying the stated condition nor shall the person be required to
identify the precise underlying medical condition.

Social distancing is an effective way to prevent potential infection. As such,
Cannery Patrons not living in the same household must practice staying
approximately six feet away from others while using the Cannery. Please adhere to station markers set up inside the Cannery.

The Cannery will be sanitized before and after each patrons use.
Appointments are being scheduled to ensure time for
cleaning and sanitizing between customers.

The Cannery will be limited to a maximum of 10 Patrons at one time.
Walk-ins are prohibited.

Patrons should wash their hands often with
soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Patrons should do as much prep work as possible at home before coming to the
Cannery (ex. washing produce, snapping beans,
washing jars, boiling meat, cutting apples) in order to minimize time and exposure in the facility.

Cannery Patrons are responsible for washing equipment, utensils, tabletop
workstations, etc. after use.

Water fountains will not be available for use. Patrons are encouraged to bring
their own water bottles.
