2021 WCTC Graduation Information

WCTC 2021 Graduation Information

Should COVID-19 pandemic circumstances allow for it, Wythe County Technology Center (WCTC) is planning to hold an in-person graduation ceremony for those who meet our graduation requirements. We are planning for the ceremony to be held at 6pm on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at George Wythe High School. Should we be able to have an in-person graduation, it will be conducted with health protocols that are in accordance with state and local policies.

Depending on the health protocols that are in effect at the time of our graduation, the audience capacity may be limited. In an effort to start planning for this possibility, we are asking our candidates for graduation to complete this linked survey about whether or not they plan to attend our Commencement exercises. This should be a strongly committed answer as it could dictate how many guests a candidate for graduation is allowed. WCTC candidates for graduation should respond to this survey by March 30. If after you respond to this survey your graduation participation plans change, you will be able to update your intentions by notifying office staff at WCTC.

Our graduation ceremony is contingent on COVID-19 rates and decisions made about public gatherings. We are optimistic about being able to hold an in-person graduation ceremony but will be prepared to adjust our Commencement plans if necessary.

Again, our candidates for graduation should complete this graduation participation survey by March 30, 2021.
